The first edition of Rue Film Festival took place in February 2024, at Cine Brasília, in the Federal District, in Brazil. Cine Brasília is one of the most traditional street cinemas in

the country and we are very proud to have started our journey there. 

 

The first edition featured the screening of five short films followed by a debate with professionals from the fields of cinema and Reproductive Justice activism.

After its first edition, the project is now at the start of its itinerant journey. Starting with a special screening in honor of International Women's Rights Day in Recife.
